Primary Responsibilities: Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) seeks a motivated and dynamic individual for the position of Press Officer. The Press Officer promotes PPFA's position as the nation's leading advocate for reproductive freedom and provider of reproductive health care services and sex education. Provides strategic media relations guidance and program modeling for affiliates to increase the capacity and timeliness of their work with the media and their participation in nationwide media events. Executes national strategies that help define the public debate on issues of reproductive health services and rights and educates the public about PPFA's programs, policies and positions. Serves as most senior media relations staff member in regard to health care and sex education.
